About the Practitioner
As a former professional dancer and certified Pilates trainer, Megan Willdorf has always been interested in maintaining a healthy body. She discovered Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine after being treated for dance related injuries in college. This experience led her to pursue her Masters degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in 2000. Since opening her office, she has partnered with Estheticians, Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors. For 6 years, she specialized in Hand/Wrist pain and therapy while working at a occupational hand therapy clinic. Megan ran a successful practice in San Francisco for two decades before moving to Moraga, CA in 2021 to be closer to family. She incorporates any combination of holistic treatments to address your needs, including: Acupuncture, Facial and Body Microneedling, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Gua Sha, Facial Cupping, as well as Nutritional and Ergonomic/Exercise counseling.
She is a general practitioner with significant experience treating patients with pain of any origin, digestive disorders, stress reduction, depression and anxiety, and women’s health. She has a deeply intuitive sense of the body, including organ and musculoskeletal imbalance, and given her a deep understanding of the mind-body relationship. She practices with great compassion and care for her patients, encouraging lifestyle, ergonomic and nutritional changes for a lasting and beneficial result.
Megan believes that a healthy, happy community is crucial in supporting her patients. To that end, she happily donates her services to local fundraising endeavors such as Sydney Paige Foundation, Moraga Education Fund, Moraga Ranch, Lamorinda Beauty & Bubbles, and The Menopause Monologues.
